7*6*2026 ~ Day Out Downtown + Life Update

 Hi Pixie Pals!

I hope you all had a happy and safe Independence Day!

While I didn't do much myself on the 4th (I was working and afterwards it was raining for most of the day), I did go downtown with my parents yesterday!

Here's the ensemble I wore:

Ensemble details:

Top - Hot Topic
Bottoms - Old Navy
Shoes - Fila
Bag - Juicy Couture
Hat - Barbie

After getting downtown, the first place we went was the Arts Landing!

It was such a nice day out, and there were so many cool art pieces and other things to see!

It also looked like they were constructing some kind of sports court surrounded by a race track. I couldn't really tell what it was, but I looked it up and apparently it's meant to be a pickleball court.

Also, while we're on the subject, can I just confess something real quick, Pixie Pals? I didn't think pickleball was an actual sport until I was about 15 or 16; I thought they just made it up for elementary school gym class.

Anywho, after we were done at the Arts Landing, we started to walk towards the David L. Lawrence Convention Center, since AnthroCon was in full swing. It was so cool seeing everyone dressed up as their fursonas! It even kinda reminded me of how I've been considering making some :3c We then made our way to La Prima, where we got some refreshing iced coffees!

I got a decaf iced vanilla latte. Yum!!

Once we had finished our coffees, we headed back to the convention center and walked to the Riverfront Plaza. The walkway had these big waterfalls on the walls that collected in pools on either side, and it was super hot outside that day, so being there was SO refreshing.

The scenery was so beautiful along the river, even the little geesies were out and about~

We then walked down to Shore Thing, which is a little area on a barge with a snack bar, as well as a lot of other things like books, board games, and art supplies! They even had these little nets in the floor that you could sit in, which you already know ya girl couldn't resist.

I ended up getting an ice cream sandwich from the snack bar (which was falling apart as I was eating it since it was literally almost 100 degrees outside. LOL

After that, it was around one or two, so we decided to stop by Caliente Pizza & Draft House for lunch before heading home.

Overall, I had a lot of fun going into the city and being immersed in all the hustle and bustle. I can't wait until I have the money to move into the city!

Before I wrap this post up, I wanted to make a few really exciting announcements.

First of all, I'm going on a trip to King of Prussia later this month! I'm super excited, so expect to hear about that in the near future!

Secondly, I've been accepted into college!!

I just got done with my placement tests and now I'm looking into scheduling a meeting with an academic advisor to schedule my classes. I'm so happy to be entering this new chapter of my life, and I'm even happier to be taking you all along with me~!

That's all for today. See you later Pixie Pals~
